The Knack

I think that the statement “Writing is easy for people born with the knack” is a very general statement.  It just means that if people are good at writing then it comes easily for them but this is obvious.  And what determines if you are a good writer?  Writing is an act for expressing yourself and people do this in various ways.  What means something to one writer may mean nothing to the other but this is not to say his writing is not good nor that it came easily.
