Looking back it does not seem now, 5 months later, that iphones have lived up to the hype. I guess we will see how Christmas effects the population of iphones, but as of right now, I don't think they have had as much impact as expected. Part of the problem is that they do not yet easily accommodate the kind of software that, say, the blackberry does (where there are literally thousands of programs that can be downloaded). The touch screen is neat - and so far as I am concerned, the harbinger of future technology, BUT, iphones just do not have the usability through software yet! I still use my PSP, for example, simply because it has better games. And I am not satisfied with the camera options either.
