Your first test is scheduled for June 10 from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. If you are taking it on campus, come to EB1, Room 1007 on Centennial Campus.

There are 12 multi-part questions on 5 pages. Test questions vary: fill in the blanks (vocabulary -- I'll give you a list of potential terms), short answer and explanations, short code, code trace, and methods to define. The test is closed books, closed notes, no computers.

The test covers almost all topics mentioned in the syllabus from the beginning of the semester until the end of this week. The approximate point breakdown is:

  1. Basics (week 1): 12 points
  2. Methods/Strings (week 2): 23 points
  3. Arrays and array-based lists (week 3): 35 points
  4. Searching, sorting, Scanners, JUnit (week 4): 16 points
  5. Testing, Javadoc, Software Development Process (week 5) - 9 points
  6. Miscellany - 5 points

There are no direct questions on Eclipse. There are no questions on sorting.
