Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

An internship (or project) is required of all students, and the best choice is to participate in an internship.  If you are on an F-1 visa, the internship will be classified as Curricular Practical Training (CPT).  Requesting a CPT requires attending training.

Attend CPT training before you start looking for an internship.  Visit http://www.ncsu.edu/oisss/students/employment.htm for more information on the CPT training.  Please complete this training during your first semester at NCSU.
