Cause I propose a toast
Here is to the impossible becoming possible
Here is to the dream becoming reality
Here is to the stories people told you of a new beginning
Here is to the way we viewed life yesterday
Here is to the way life turned out
Sip on the truth and let it light a fire in your eyes
So bright the sun gets jealous
Raise your glasses tonight
To the future endeavors
Drown your sorrows
In text books and friends
Fill your glass with test and weekends
Do not forget and do not remember
I propose a toast this night
Cheers to tears and fears that got us here
Cheers to the times and never changing border lines
Cheers to the college experience
For beating us down and raising us up when we needed it most
Cheers to us
For taking the first step
Here's to me

And here is to many more beginnings
