NACADA Advising Awards
Donna Burton was honored as an Outstanding Academic Advisor and Michelle Crossley was honored as an Outstanding New Academic Advisor at the NACADA annual conference in October.
Accomplishments
In May Mike Ellis graduated from NC State Equal Opportunity Institute
• The Equal Opportunity Institute is an award-winning NC State program designed to provide university students and employees a means for developing a comprehensive understanding of equal opportunity issues. 10 courses are required, 3 are core courses and 7 are elective.
In Oct Mike Ellis graduated from NC State Human Resources Academy

Participants of the HR Academy will be exposed to HR functions, legal aspects, NC State policies and procedures, as well as related courses that enhance overall knowledge and application of the HR function.
