CALS Career Fair
During my time at the CALS Career Fair I was able to talk with Mrs. Tart who works with the Wake County Cooperative Extension Agency. I introduced myself and told her that even though I am currently majoring in Agriculture Education, it will soon change over to Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Even though I am no longer planning on majoring in Ag Ed. Mrs. Tart and I were still able to talk about some possible internships. She handed me loads of information about the Wake County 4-H programs and some of the local high-school FFA programs. Being in FFA in high-school and competing against 4-H programs, we had quite a bit to talk about. We talked about almost every competition i had participated in during my FFA career. She asked me my influences as to why i made my decision to change majors, and my response was that i have always liked numbers and my mother worked at my high-school as the treasurer. Coming to work with my mom really gave me a glimpse of how fun counting money and auditing could be. She thought that was very admirable and wished me the best of luck in school and pursuing my career.
