Campus IT Re-Org
The recent decision to re-structure the campus technology units is a unique opportunity for Student Affairs. (The initiative to hire a CIO has led to a decision to reorganize now rather than later, starting with the consolidation of campus email and calendaring services.) We will be able to state our needs for technology infrastructure and support and have those evaluated at a high level and considered as new models are developed for the campus. My goal is to articulate those needs and present them to the appropriate individuals early in the process. Much of that information will likely come from the results of our technology planning initiative.
