NC State Undergraduates,
 
I am pleased to inform you that the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is requesting applications for its 2008-2009 Study Abroad grant program.  Both members of Phi Kappa Phi, as well as non-members are eligible to apply. Phi Kappa Phi is a national honor society established in 1897 to recognize and promote academic excellence in all disciplines of higher education. Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest, largest, and most selective of all such honor societies. The NC State chapter was established in 1923.
 
Phi Kappa Phi will award 50 study abroad grants of $1000 each.  Eligible undergraduates are those who have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. By February 18, 2008, applicants must: 1) have earned at least 30 credit hours, but no more than 90 credit hours of academic credit;  2) be accepted into a study abroad program; and 3) have at least two semesters (or equivalent) remaining in residence at their home institution after completing the study abroad experience. The study abroad program must be taken between May 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009. Applications should be submitted directly by the student to Phi Kappa Phi headquarters and must ARRIVE by February 18, 2008.
