Important info for DE Students in Section 601.

Students enrolled in Section 601 should schedule the final exam ASAP (for April 29 or  30). Otherwise you may not find an open time slot at DE Proctoring Service.

John Pugh at the DE Proctoring Service asked me to pass along the following information (their generic student info for taking finals at DE Proctoring).

All,

Here is some important information concerning Final Exam proctoring with the DELTA Testing Center.

Scheduling

Students are strongly encouraged to schedule there exams ASAP if you have not already done so. Appointments are on a first-come, first served basis, and students should be aware that there are NO WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS. Students should schedule their appointments online like usual, using the directions found on the Local Proctor Page: http://distance.ncsu.edu/students/localproctor.html

Additional Locations for Finals Proctoring

There are three locations where students can take their tests: The Main DELTA Testing Center (Venture IV, Suite 140,) the DELTA Overflow Room (Venture III, Suite 267 ? in the conference room), and (for CH 221/223 students only) DH Hill Library ITTC Lab I. Venture III and Venture IV are located next to each other, and parking should be available at the Venture Parking Deck as usual.

Choosing a Location

When you log into the online scheduling system, it defaults to the Main DELTA Center in Venture IV. (This is where all exams this semester have been proctored so far this semester.) If there are no available slots there, pull down the DELTA Overflow Room location from the drop-down menu and schedule your exam there. Note that the Overflow room will be open 4/28 ? 5/2, and has two appointment times at 9am and 1pm. The DH Hill Library ITTC Lab 1 location is ONLY for CH 221/223 students.

Extended Hours during Finals

We?ll be open 8am-8pm, from 4/48 ? 5/1 (Mon ?Thurs). Friday (5/2) hours will be 8am-5pm, and we?ll also be opening the main DELTA Testing Center on Saturday, 5/3, for one session beginning at 9am. We?ll go back to our regular office hours on Monday, 5/5.

That?s about it. Again, schedule your exams ASAP, as appointment times are going quickly, and some time slots have already filled up.
