2007-2008 - A Year of Development

Over the past year, Project Torch has been active in developing all of its subprojects for eventual implementation.  An increasing number of student leaders have become aware of the needs of the NCSU community that this project seeks to address, and are supportive of initiatives to meet them.  It is unfortunate this was not the case from 2005 to recently.

Now that the will within the community is growing to promote and sustain such an ambitious set of initiatives that Project Torch presents, I feel confident that 2008-2009 is the time for them to come to be.

Summer 2008, the Organization Notebook subproject will begin its implementation, followed by the Unified Calendar subproject in Fall 2008.  The Inter-Organization Communication, Organization Directory, and Organization History Preservation subprojects will be implemented by the beginning Spring 2009.  Details forthcoming.

With the company of experienced, visionary leaders at the head of Student Government and the Inter-Residence Council, it's now prime time.
