4-H Update Dates to Remember:
- September 8, 2008 @ 7:00pm: Southcentral District Horse Council, Lee County Extension office.
- September 13, 2008: Union County 4-H Livestock Show.
- September 18, 2008 @ 7:00pm: Southwest District Horse Council Meeting at Gaston Extension Office.
- September 29, 2008: Volunteer Program, Utilizing Teens, Mecklenburg County 4-H Office, 6:30pm (light meal included), Register with Laura B.
- October 3, 2008: National 4-H Week Poster Contest Deadline.
- October 5-10, 2008: National 4-H Week.
- October 16, 2008: State Fair begins.
- October 23, 2008: Volunteer Program, Science & Discovery, Mecklenburg County 4-H Office, 6:30pm (light meal included), Register with Laura B.
- November 3, 2008: Teen Council, 6:00pm, Union County Agricultural Services Center.
- November 4, 2008: 4-H Advisory Lunch Meeting, 11:30AM.
- November 13, 2008: Volunteer Program, Holiday Crafts, Mecklenburg County 4-H Office, 6:30pm (light meal included) Register with Laura B.
- November 15-16, 2008: State Council Conference.
- November 23, 2008: Monroe Christmas Parade (call Laura B. for times).
- December 5, 2008: Exceptional Children's Holiday Party (start collecting now). We already have notebooks/composition for each child.
