Thank God this abomination of a weekend is over. I've lost my debit card(I know where it is now) and am dog tired. At least I got my studying in for tomorrows test. Friday night I went out apparently got trashed and even bought a bucket of beer that I can't remember drinking but I've been assured by almost equally drunk people that we did finish it. My The Kingdom Preview

So the Kingdom comes out today. I probably will never see this movie but I feel like it is prime pickins to be mocked by a talentless hack like myself. So here is my preview of The Kingdom aka Black & Tan. Now I know what you are thinking what about all the Rush Hour films? Don't they count as Black & Tan and my response to you would be no. After the first one they were way to generic buddy cop films. I have seen several trailers for The Kingdom and there is always one line that stands out for me. "Whos side is Allah on?" "We are about to find out". That about locks this bad boy up ladies and gentlemen, how could they let this line slip into the film. I'm no Hollywood writer but that line sounds like the kind of thing that gets worn out quick by late night talk show people. Other than that the movie looks ok to pretty good. Freaking Awesome

Seldom is a better response to an article in the paper written than this absolute gem by Pat Wheeler. He is basically reacting to an article that called NCSU bad fans for not supporting our team to the bitter end. Well this guy, Pat, nails him with one awesome line,"I'd be less embarrassed having uncontrollable diarrhea ripping my bowels apart in the middle of class." How excellent is this zinger. I'm sure you have seen this somewhere by now, but I would like to give a bit of my opinion on the backlash. If you have read the coloumn then you probably know the backbone is all hear-say. It's nothing solid, it's fluff. This is a columnist who instead of, you know, asking questions of the Coach, whom she has access too, as Carl Carlson once said, and I'm paraphrasing here, "That's how you learn, by asking questions dumbass!" Don't make stuff up as you go. So anyway the media is being the media and defending their own and I think it's crap because they are all unionized. How about someone have guts. New Self Defense

I thought up a new way to protect yourself when you are carousing the mean streets late at night. Make sure that you are always carrying 10-12 Bic lighters, if someone runs up on you just throw one of these bad boys at their feet as hard as you can it should burst and you know scare the shit out of your attacker. Was Gonna

I was gonna write about us getting pwned today but then I got back and something caught my eye. There are God Damned redneck retards in the lobby of the building with the computer lab in it who are hootin and hollerin at the fuckin tv as they watch the USC/LSU game on TV. These are some of the people that make me as sick as I can get. They (3 of them) are decked out in LSU garb. Listen assholes if you love the school so fuckin much go there but don't hang out in our public places screaming and shit. You have a fucking room here I assume if you wanna get loud and shit do it at your place don't make us all pay because you are to goddamned cheap to get a tv or cable in your room. What a pleasant suprise

We went into a class today looking for able bodies and did we ever find them. Plus they are young too which is just as I prefer them.Freshman dominate this list I have and the best part is they are Communication freshmen which means their interest is real, not a hobby kind like the others before them, but a genuine vested educational and beyond interest. This is after reading a fortune cookie that told me I was going to be out of a rut before I got to see the size of the list. Just gettin' it over with..

Work is fun, I enjoy what I am doing now part time of course but heading into tomorrow, the last day of the pay period I had about 10 hours in 5 days of work when I have only been working since last Thursday. Plus this will make me money in 2 ways. 1)Working obviously and 2) I can't drink until I pass out on the weekends thus meaning I won't need a ton of booze. Plus I'm such a puss that I won't want to go to work with a sore tummy or slight hangover so I will just chill out at home more

Down for the Count

I am basically done. Kaputski if you will, Fall pretty much rolled in at the worst time possible and caught me of guard. I can't keep my eyes open for crying out loud. I have had my energy sucked from my body ala Superman over the past few days. But I'm doing pretty good in my classes. I am also closing in on the one year anniversary of this my original blog, or OB as I like to call it starting 20 seconds ago. Oct 3 was the first post, which means I probably learned about free blogs via the library at about this time and just held off on doing it because I didn't know how much fun it could be.
