The career expo was a good experience and it really made me realize that are a lot of jobs in the agriculture realm that i did not even know about and there are so many choices. The internship i was most interested in was an internship with AgCarolina Financial. This internship is a program designed to include spending time with Financial Services Officers and Appraisers, along with the Finance, marketing, and Credit Departments to obtain any overview of how AgCarolina operates. A primary function of the summer internship is the completion of an assigned team project. The project will relate to a business element that will help to improve the operation or business efforts of AgCarolina Financial. I have not decided exactly what major i want to pursue but i think this career expo helped me see the choices i have to make in the future. I plan to do more interviews and research different businesses within agirculture to see what they all entail.
