NC Cattle Referendum Passes

Below is a summary of the results from the October 6, 2009 NC Cattle Industry Assessment Referendum.  The vote must be a two/third majority to pass, consequently, the referendum did pass.

Counties reporting: 101
Counties reporting no votes: 21

Votes "for" - 839
Votes "against" - 306
Votes illegible - 3
Total votes - 1147
