Podcasting & iTunesU

On April 20th, Hal Meeks hosted a discussion on the use of Podcasting and iTunes at educational institutions and its impact on teaching and learning. We discussed the future of podcasting at NCSU and saw a demonstration of the hardware, software and process for creating your own Podcast. Please continue the discussion by adding comments to this post.

Comments:

You might want to remove the link to B&H Photo from the resources, we are forbidden by the state from doing business with them (with state dollars). Of course, individuals can do as they wish with their own funds

There was mention about recording audio from within the PC...

I've been using Super MP3 Recorder Pro from AdmireSoft for about 3 years now - for both personal and work use... It does recording from any audio input both external and internal... it records direct to MP3 and has a built in sound/wave editor. One great feature that I've taken advantage of is the built in timer that will record audio for you during the week/day for any set amount of time. Works great for timeshifting NPR audio or audio streaming from the web...
