Welcome!

Welcome to my blog about Shelties (or Shetland Sheep Dogs).  If you have ever had a Sheltie, you are kindred spirit.  If you have ever found yourself driving down the street yelling out of the window of your car to greet a sheltie being walked on the sidewalk, this blog is for you!  Willie is my sheltie.  He is 10 years old and he is a loyal companion.  He is never in a bad mood and he is always happy to see me when I get home.  If you want a great dog for kids, this is the breed for you.  They are gentle dogs, and very protective.  My first sheltie was Murphy.  I fell in love with this breed in elementary school when my principle had a sheltie that walked down the hall with her at our school. These dogs look like Lassie.
