San Diego Vacation Rentals

One of my friends from school asked me the other day what I thought about getting a group of people from school and taking a vacation together. I love road trips and group vacations, so I jumped at the chance. However, when she suggested that we look at San Diego as a possible vacation spot, I was a little hesitant. I was wondering exactly what there was to do in San Diego but, even more so than that, whether or not it would be expensive there.

My first question was answered almost immediately as my friend sat down with me and, while showing me on her laptop, told me about all of the cool things to do in San Diego. San Diego is very much a cultural city, with many of the activities revolving around art - museums, theaters and the like - while also focusing a bit on the oceanfront aspect of the city. San Diego caters to every visitor and their corresponding lifestyle, whether they are on a budget or ready to live it up. Places to stay are plentiful throughout the city, and I think you will find that San Diego has a room for every sort of traveler, from the loner to the social butterfly. San Diego vacation rentals are generally reasonably priced and as long as you keep your eyes peeled for bargains on vacation rentals, you can always count on keeping some cash in your pocket.

Cash that you will need for public transportation as you explore the city and see the sights. Visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo, or watch the dolphins and killer whales at Sea World San Diego. Check out Torrey Pines State Reserve just outside the city for something that's a little more "Wild Kingdom." Or perhaps you enjoy visiting museums like the Timken Museum of Art or the San Diego Aerospace Museum or even the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Whatever your taste or budget, there is something for everyone to enjoy in San Diego during daytime excursions.

Night life in San Diego is dynamic and fun, with an array of activities to choose from. Want to dance the night away at the hottest spots? Visit The Bitter End, one of the most popular nightclubs in the area. Maybe you're more into live music and lounging. If so, chill out at Humphrey's Lounge. Hang out at the House of Blues San Diego for a more familiar setting or just take a stroll through the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park, where you will find some of the best art shows and galleries in the city.

San Diego is a culturally rich city with endless possibilities, no matter what budget you're on. It's the perfect getaway for college students that want more than just fun in the sun for their vacation.
