"It is always difficult to improve perfection!!!"

I decided to conduct a small experiment one month ago. It is called " The Facebook experiment ". Following are the details.

I was a regular user of facebook one month ago. I used to visit it 5-6 times daily and stay there for quite a while. I got more and more addicted to that thing day by day. I am sure many of you might be doing the same. I started using the Chat thing on facebook and spent more than 2 hours(sometimes) chatting at night. It was surely a distraction during my study time. I even spent my time looking at others profile and pictures which I think is not apprpriate. I was a regular status updater on fb and used to get back on it to check the comments.

The main aim to join fb was socializing...but this was way more than that...kind of over-socializing . I decided to stay off from it for one month and see the results. They were quite positive- I was able to focus more on my studies. I spent no more time in thinking about others, which I did previously when I was addicted to fb.

There is nothing wrong in using fb, but I think the problem lies in its MISUSE. Adding people as friends whom you never knew and spending hours gossiping with them, is such a waste of time. I am happy that I realised all this soon and was successful in my experiment . I am back on fb after a month, and everything still seems the same, except that I am no more addicted to it and no more a frequent user.
