Turns out that there is a lot more to this island than the Kokomo song. Which is good for you, the college student looking for a cool vacation spot for spring break. Key Largo, the longest of the Florida Keys, and the one closest to Florida, is also one of the most fun vacation destinations in Florida, and a perfect spot to stay in when you want to have a great time on your spring

Key Largo has it all, from para-sailing to jet skiing. It has some of the most beautiful stretches of beach in all of Florida, and it boasts parks, fishing, boating, and a lot of cultural events. At night, the island is jumping with live entertainment, bars, nightclubs and lounges. There are many restaurants and local stores, and it's close to Miami, so there are many opportunities for even more fun there. Take a boat to the other keys as well, and enjoy the full experience of being down at the Keys.
One huge part of the Key Largo experience is to go snorkeling or diving. Key Largo is home to the country's first underwater preserve, with many ships, statues and other underwater landmarks that characterize what you can find in Key Largo. In addition, you can explore the breathtaking coral reefs that adorn the waters of Key Largo.
With all of those things, and just going on location alone, you would think that finding a place to stay for your spring vacation that is not only available but inexpensive is virtually impossible.
