Orlando Vacation Homes

College students looking to take a load off and get away from the hustle and bustle of student living need to look no further than Orlando, Florida. After all, it is the home of the happiest place on Earth, right? You'll find, however, that "O-town" is much more than just Disney World and tourist attractions. It's an exciting city with plenty of places to rest your head, shake it up, or simply mellow out. Best of all, it's an ideal destination for students planning a getaway on a budget, or for group vacations, so you can take a break without breaking your bank.

Orlando vacation homes can be found all over the Central Florida area, making it a breeze to find great lodging at dirt-cheap rates. Great lodging, though, doesn't mean a tiny hotel room in the middle of a tourist district; you can find a fully-furnished vacation home, complete with full kitchen, large bedrooms and, in some cases, even a private pool - all for the cost of that tiny hotel room. You can spend your Orlando vacation in luxury for a fraction of the cost. Does it get any better than that?

Of course, where you stay depends on what you want to do. Do you want to hit the theme parks and attractions around town? Check out lodging in nearby Kissimmee, a visitors' haven located minutes from everywhere. Maybe you're more interested in staying somewhere closer to Downtown Orlando's nightlife. After all, there's something for everyone going on every night of the week. Well, there are many vacation rentals to choose from all over town, all in neighborhoods that are private, quiet and accessible to major roads that will take you anywhere from the club to the beach.

So now that you're thinking about Orlando as a possible travel destination, where do you go to find fabulous rates on Orlando vacation homes? Here are a few tips to get you started on planning your next trip:

  • The Internet is your friend! Get on web and look up all of the information you can about vacation homes in Orlando. Make sure you also check out lodging in nearby areas like Kissimmee-St. Cloud. Often times, places that are close to Orlando but not quite in the heart of the city offer the best deals.
  • Stay away from stuffy hotel rooms in the theme parks. The rates will be too much and, if you're traveling with a group of friends, chances are it will be way too crowded in the room.
  • Call a few places that you find online and ask for details about their rates and if they have any online specials. Also, find out when they offer the best deals. Don't be fooled: just because it's spring break, it doesn't mean that you have to pay an arm and a leg to find a bargain.

With a little patience, some research, and just some good shopping sense, you can have that much-needed break you've been wanting without spending your much-needed savings. So go look for that Orlando vacation home and plan that trip! After all, college isn't just about school - it's about having fun!
