Lake Tahoe Vacation Rentals

Picture standing on a rock overlooking a gorgeous lake, bright green foliage and the sight of beautiful, majestic mountains in the horizon. If you're looking to get away and find some sanity in the midst of your hectic college life, what could be better than escaping to nature and immersing yourself in the picturesque beauty of Lake Tahoe?

Taking a break from school doesn't have to involve beaches, bikinis and sand. For those who are seeking adventure, a connection with nature and some much needed relaxation, Lake Tahoe is the place to be. Tucked away in the border of Nevada and California, Lake Tahoe is easily one of the most accessible places to vacation in.  From the moment you fly into one of the three airports that are close by, you know that you're in for a special time. Nature hikes, skiing, swimming, and camping during the day complement the alluring, interesting nightlife in Lake Tahoe. The breathtaking backdrop will make you take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep.

Finding a place to stay in Lake Tahoe is far from difficult. There are at least eleven towns all around Lake Tahoe, both in the California side and the Nevada side, that offer reasonable rates for lodging around the lake. Lake Tahoe vacation rentals are beautiful, affordable and fitting according to your personality.

Discovering vacation homes in Lake Tahoe that will complement what you want your experience to be won't be difficult at all, either. Would you like to stay in a hotel or a motel room? Perhaps you'd like instead to rent your own cabin in the woods, or seek out your own condo. You might just want something that reminds you of home. No matter what you're looking for, there is definitely something for everyone.

That goes for activities as well. Transportation in Lake Tahoe is a breeze and the lake is located a short distance away from major cities like Sacramento and San Francisco in California and Reno and Carson City in Nevada. While nature hikes, trails and ski lodges are a staple of the lake, nightlife is hopping with dancing, clubs and gambling. An opportunity to revitalize and recharge yourself, a trip to Lake Tahoe is just what you need to get your mind off of those school stresses.

I think Lake Norman may be better alternative than traveling all the way out to Lake Tahoe. Granted Lake Tahoe is a different atmosphere, but Lake Norman is a nice (cheap) weekend trip for NCSU Students
