When you think Daytona Beach, you think
racing, motorcycles and yes, spring break. Who can blame you? Daytona Beach, Florida
is home to all of these things and much, much more. Here's something that, as a
college student, you may not have considered though: Daytona Beach is not just
fun and crazy on spring break - Daytona is definitely the place to be, no
matter what time of the year it is.
If the prospect of lodging keeps you from even considering Daytona
Beach because of how crowded it generally gets, especially during spring and
summer, don't worry; there are so many places that you can stay at that are
both beautiful and remarkably budget-friendly. Spacious and, more importantly,
affordable Daytona Beach condo rentals
can be found year-round by just going onto different sites and keeping your
eyes open for bargains that pop up frequently.
There is something for everyone in
Daytona Beach. Of course, you can't mention Daytona without thinking about the
Daytona 500, and for a good reason. The Daytona 500 is one of the most watched,
most attended sporting events ever. Regardless of whether you are a NASCAR fan
or not, you'll enjoy touring the Daytona International Speedway. Also, Bike
Week is an annual event that brings people to Daytona from all over the
country. It's a sight to see, so many motorcycles in one place. If you own a
bike, or just admire them, this is an event you won't want to miss.
But of course, the highlight of every
college student's spring semester is spring break, and no city does spring
break better than Daytona Beach. Every year, thousands of students from
colleges all across the country meet in Daytona to have a week filled with fun
in the sun and unforgettable nights of partying and excitement. During the day,
you should not be surprised at all to see people swimming, running, playing
volleyball on the beach, or surfing. From jet-skis and parasails to manatee
scenic tours, Daytona offers a wide variety of daytime activities that are sure
to keep everyone busy. Daytona also boasts a beautiful history with some sites
that are a must for any visiting history buff. By night, the town becomes party
central, with a variety of clubs, restaurants and bars that will more than
satisfy the quintessential bar hopper's thirst for adventure.
These are just some of the reasons why
Daytona Beach is THE destination for spring breakers all over the U.S. Still
not convinced? Check it out and experience it for yourself!
Great beach community and awesome events! I have a few friends that went to ERAU out there and only have good things to say about that area.
