 Free Photos

everystockphoto is a good site to find that perfect image to use in your next presentation or to put with your news story on the web site.  They give you the ability to search for images that are shared under one of the "Creative Commons" licenses. All of the Creative Commons licenses allow you to copy and distribute (use on web pages, presentations and print) the work.

If you want to share your images, you can post them to Flickr and then have everystockphoto index them for you and others.

They still have some indexing to do (or I wonder if it has to do with the photos I put being under a non-commercial CC license.... must explore that)

I kind of like Flickr's own search:

e.g. http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=NCSU&l=cc for "NCSU" and "Creative Commons"
